Hello, lovelies!
This weekend all my spring flowers died so I thought I should try something with some pout-pourri and some dried flower that I had in a different arrangement.
This pout-pourri is rose scented and has a lovely, vibrant colour.
A while ago I saved a small cute beer bottle ( not very classy, ha?) and paired it with a plate in the same colour.
The beer bottle is holding a thistle flower that I received in a big flower arrangement.
I think it looks really pretty and it's also scented. The colours fitted perfectly.

The Colour Wheel in Decorating
I've been into colour theory lately and I've started studying as much as I can the colour families and how they are used. I will try to write some posts in the near future experimenting in room design and decor with the different ways to use the colour wheel.
In the colour wheel we have the 3 primary colours: RED, YELLOW and BLUE.
The secondary colours are the ones formed by combining to primary colours: ORANGE, VIOLET, GREEN.
Finally, the tertiary colours are formed by combining a primary colour with a secondary one.
With the colour wheel in your mind you can understand what works well and how you can combine them in a room.
We will experiment with all the combinations in the next posts.

Home Fragrance- Rose Water Scented Clay Heart
On the 8th of March I received a nice gift that I thought it was just a pretty heart. I had no idea these existed. Apparently they can be found anywhere, I saw them on Ebay. They are scented clays in different shapes and some of them can be hanged.
I'm assuming you can hang them in a dresser, but was so pretty and it fit my bedroom so well, that I hung it on the door key.
I don't know if this one was already scented, but it came with a little spray. You just spray it on the heart and, I must say, it holds the fragrance well, I believe it is the pores in the clay or something.
As far as the scent goes, I love mine, is Rose Water. Is like an old smell, in the best way. Let's say it is a classic. Is is a strong rose scent and it goes well with the roses carved on the heart.
The details are actually really pretty and feminine, very old-school yet again. I think when I will finish the spray I will try to use a different fragrance. I am pretty sure is better to use a clear (no colour) and oil-free perfume to prevent stains.

ID Pieces of Life (2)
I have been having some trouble sleeping lately, so I purchased the Boots Calming Aromatherapy set hoping it will help me.
Aside from water lilies, white tulips are my favourite flowers. They are just so simple and elegant, having them around the house makes me happy.
These days I wore these a lot, they are really thick (for some reason my feet and legs are always cold) an I love the print. Can anybody explain to me why moustaches are a big thing now? They are really fun to wear around the house- COZZZY!
My fitness plan for this summer is to get rid of my arm fat, actually the skin hanging from the arm. You know, the one that makes you look like you're about to take off and fly when you wave. The fact that these are bright pink make the morning sets easier.
Flowers again. I was a lucky girl these days. <3.
Stay happy and inspired!

ID Small IKEA Haul
This weekend we went on our almost weekly visit to IKEA. We went with some friends so that they would buy some stuff and we promised ourselves we will not buy anything.
But, there you go, some small knickknacks:
I bought a poster frame for some poster I bought recently for my vanity.
A photo frame, white, simple, you can always use it.
A set of scented candles that was on sale. Already burned them, could not wait.
Small double candle holder, so cheap I had to grab it.
Finally, a set of kitchen utensils, also on sale. Already used them, pretty good quality.
I also bought a toilet brush, but I couldn't think of a reason why you should see that.

TREND ALERT! Around the world
So apparently maps are everywhere now. I think it is super easy to get caught in this trend because most people love to travel and wish they would travel more. Having map inspired decor around makes me think about travellig and new adventures.
Also, I love this trend because it is an invitation to DIY. I mean, just get a map that you love, frame it, and you have a personal wall art.
As an idea, you can get a map of the place you and your partner met, frame it, write something romantic and then give it to her/him as a gift.
Accents are easy to incorporate in a room.
I find that maps wallpaper or big maps wall art is best suited in home offices, but I have to admit that using it in a boy's room is super-adorable. Once you have this wallpaper on, you can go all-out in a kid's room, can't you? I mean lamps, boats, globes, pillows, related books on display, compasses...all for the little explorer!
Stay inspired and go somewhere nice!
